I gave a workshop about how to turn a design or idea into a Flutter UI, from design to code.

I had the opportunity to give a talk in my own country, on which the Flutter knowledge is either professional or completely null, so I wanted to share a set of clear and fundamental concepts for getting started with the Flutter SDK.

The workshop was really active and many attendees asked questions and engaged a lot.

I participated in FlutterConf LATAM both as an organizer and speaker, which was both a challenging and grateful experience.

I supported the event on the media side; making videos for social media, leaded the communication on our Telegram group for the event and assisted on general organization for on-site dinners and activities during the event.

"Getting in context: Dominate BuildContext in Flutter"

My talk was about how the BuildContext works on Flutter, building it from the most known piece (a widget) and going deep down to the core of the framework, how those widgets are built and what's behind them.
The objective was to showcase good practices on how to handle context throughout the development of an app, and what not to do in order to prevent failures.

Many attendees participated during the talk and they told me they learned a lot from it, which makes me really happy.

"Mastering Flutter + Firebase: Architecting for Scale, Security & Savings"

We gave a talk with Tomas Piaggio at the Catholic University of Uruguay featuring Google Developers Group Montevideo, and we share our experience about Flutter and Firebase by addressing different concepts and tools we used to create a mobile app, being Genkit one of them, the new Firebase AI tool.

At the talk we showcased an application we've built and shared the code with the audience. And we also share insights about our experience giving the talk as a workshop in FlutterCon EU in previous weeks.

The first International Women Day I organized with my team as part of the Women Techmakers Ambassadors group. It was a wonderful experience and I acted both as a co-organizer and as a panelist moderator.

The panel was about women who switched their career and are now working in the IT field. They shared their story, their experiences and how much grateful they are for having made those changes on their life.

Lovely and inspiring experience which enabled us to kickstart our community of women techmakers in Uruguay.

I participated in the Flutter Bootcamp of Codigo Facilito as a teacher of several topics and followed almost the whole course helping out students and assisting on their doubts when the primary teachers were busy.

Amazing experience that made me better at organizing information and creating practical resources for the students. Back then I provided a class of handling inputs and forms, and used the "workshop" feature of Dartpad (long gone now 🥲), and was able to share that workshop with the students so they could follow and play.

I kickstarted the Flutter Quito Meetup group by giving a talk about how to get started on Flutter:

• Useful resources to master specific topics of Flutter
• How to get into the community
• And more!

After several GDG London Flutter DevCamps I attended as a student, this time I was able to help out providing mentorship to some of the students that attended these sessions.

I was able to help during the live sessions and also via Slack channels.
